Tom McDonald first established his business in 1983, as a summer student venture. Its primary operation at that time was preventative maintenance in office buildings, which incorporated the cleaning of induction units and filter servicing. Our major clients included Honeywell Ltd, The Co-operators Development Corporation, Canada Trust, and Scotia Realty / Bank.

During this time, Tom McDonald also attended Ryerson Polytechnical Institute and successfully completed the Mechanical Engineering Technology program.

In 1986 Tom began serving his apprenticeship in the Air Conditioning/Refrigeration trade at Honeywell Ltd. While there he completed the apprenticeship program and was awarded the Robert C. Fair Memorial Award for the outstanding graduating apprentice, presented by the Ontario Contractors Association and Local 787.

Tom is also accredited with completing various courses: Basic Pneumatic Controls, Gas Fitter, Commercial Heat Loss/ Duct design, and various manufacturer sponsored seminars.
